Wreath laying ceremony held at DPL Kulgam Floral tribute paid to Matyr Shabir Ahmad : Police | KNO

To pay homage to martyr police Constable Shri Shabir Ahmad, a wreath laying ceremony was held in DPL Kulgam.

DIG South Kashmir Shri S.P Pani led the police officers and jawans in laying floral wreaths on the mortal remains of the martyr. SSP Kulgam Shri Shridhar Patil was also present during the ceremony. As has been reported that today in the evening, some unknown militants fired upon constable Shabir Ahmad Dar son of Abdul Rehman resident of Bogund Kulgam near his home. He was shifted to hospital for treatment where doctors declared him brought dead. A massive manhunt has been launched in the district to nab the culprits. The deceased is survived by his wife and 13 months old son.
